Welcome New Members of FMCA!

The Coastal Tarheels is a Chapter of Family Motor Coach Association. This chapter encompasses all of Eastern North Carolina. We have members from the Coast to Mountains, from Virginia to Myrtle Beach, SC . The purpose of our Chapter is (1) to promote the RV way of life; (2) to socialize and share with others the places we've been, things we've seen; (3) to exchange information of interest to all who answer the "call of the road", and above all, to have fun and fellowship with each other. We meet the first full weekend of each month (except July) with Friday being the first day. Each rally has hosts who set the meeting place and plans the activities. Saturday and Sunday breakfast is provided by the hosts. Friday and Saturday night dinners could be potluck, eat out, or anything else the hosts chooses. On Saturday, the monthly business meeting follows the dinner or breakfast. After Saturday dinner, we usually play games or tell of our adventures or in some case our misadventures, or have entertainment. Sunday morning we hold a short devotional service after breakfast.

The requirements for Membership are: (1) be a member in good standing with FMCA, (2) attend one Rally as a guest and (3) apply for Membership at the end of the - Rally. A one-time Initiation Fee of $10.00 and the first year's Dues of $12.00 are required at that time. You will be given a copy of our Constitution and by-laws, a Chapter Membership Roster and a Chapter decal for your motor home. You must keep your dues current and attend at least one (1) Rally each year to remain a Member. A Newsletter is sent out each month.
